Walkera Scout X4 Quadcopter Review Follow Me

Let's review the Walkera Scout X4 quadcopter with follow me mode.

How Hard Or Difficult Is To Fly A Walkera Scout X4?

If you are looking buying one of these and would like to know how hard it is to learn the functions and fly, then welcome to this review page.

Maybe you have a smaller drone or  a much less complex quadcopter but would like to upgrade.

Well let's start with external details, there are 3 colors available, gray, white and exclusive carbon version for USA.

This quadcopter uses a Devention Devo 10 RC receiver alongside a Walkera Devo F12E FPV transmitter. This Walkera drone was released after DJI Phantom 2 and it’s a ready to fly out of the box FPV quadcopter, so you don’t need to perform complicated setups before you are able to fly it.

It weighs around 3.9 lbs with a flight range of 3280 feet and a flight time of approx. 25 mins with its large battery (22.2V 5400mAh LiPo). The X4 is very easy to pilot, its FPV monitor make the flight very easy to control with the high tech transmitter.

Also, this quadcopter it’s very easy to land because it has retractable landing skids (without blocking the camera’s field of view).

Take Better Aerial Pictures With The Follow-Me Mode

Another well known feature is the Follow-Me mode, which instructs the UAV to follow (of course) the user based on GPS coordinates or simple you can pre-designate a fixed route before you flight.

More Great Quadcopter You May Like

Yes the price of this Walkera model is high, but you are paying for good technology, so with that said you want to practice with other cheaper drones if you don’t have experience piloting quadcopters before.

Another feature it’s the Fail Safe Return to Home, that does exactly what its name says, all with the help of the built-in GPS (and also has automatic landing.)

It's worth to mention the ability of returning to its starting position to land, if eventually you experience a loss of signal.
